Kaiserau

The Kaiserau is a high plateau between Admont and Trieben at around 1,100 m above sea level. In addition to Kaiserau Castle, there has also been a four-hectare photovoltaic system on the plateau since 2014.

In winter the Kaiserau is a popular small ski area that offers two ski lifts, a cross-country ski run and a natural toboggan run from the Oberst-Klinke-Hütte. Ski touring and snowshoe fans will also find beautiful tours here in winter, such as the Lahngangkogel.

In summer the Kaiserau is the ideal starting point for numerous hikes – especially tours on the Admonter Kalbling and Admonter Reichenstein.
